Buying clothes from AMRIKA, question about sizes.

I guess it partially depends on where you're buying it from. My boyfriend weighs about 135 and he wears shirts that are size small, at least from Abercrombie, Hollister, and the like.

I actually don't like the way the clothes look. I also don't appreciate the fact that they cost a ridiculous amount of money, but that's like most brand name clothing. From a marketing perspective they are also one of the worst for only targeting white males. I'm not a big fan of seeing people look like they just came from the beach in the middle of December.

I'll dress nicely at times, I really like some of H&M's clothing as well as bluenotes for their comfy sweaters and jeans. I also find these stores do not target one specific group of people, you can also get good deals on shirts and sweaters. Guys accessories at H&M are some of the cheapest I've seen, I got a pair of sandals for $6.90.

He used to work for Abercrombie as a fit model actually. We live in the town were Abercrombie started, so naturally there are Abercrombie clones walking around everywhere, and everyone aspires to work in the Home Office. But yea he was a fit model because his proportions were perfect for the small size there. Hey, I wouldn't mind getting paid $20 an hour, 40 hours a week, to stand around while they pin clothes on you, take your picture, and etc etc.

EDIT: And about the cost... employees get to go to annual sales there, where you raid the warehouse. Pants are about $5 max and shirts are $1. Then you turn around and sell them on ebay and make a killing....

It's a terrible fad that kids fall into, it's sad that the only Hollister store is an hour and a half away but all the kids and adults in my area wear those stupid fucking shirts. Spending $50 on a shirt does make you a tool.

I'm 5'9/165 lbs. and I would be considered average to thin by most people. I weighed 135 after I was in the hospital and didn't eat a single thing for 2 weeks (and I looked terrible).
