Obama's speech is reminiscent of Al Gore's claim of having invented the Internet, Hillary Clinton's claim of having been named after the first man to climb Mt. Everest, even though she was born five years and seven months before Sir Edmund climbed the mountain, and John Kerry's imaginary trip to Cambodia.

Interesting post, 404 and others. Basically I've always thought that it doesnt matter which Dem gets the nomination, because they are going to win anyway. Since (it seems) everyone hates the war and hates Bush, I figured that would be the end of the Republicans having a shot at the presidency, especially because McCain wants to continue the war. Now from what 404 and others have pointed out, this may not be so true.

Sort of boggles my mind that people hate Hillary THAT much that they would rather vote for a guy who wants to continue the war. Didnt expect that to happen.

It's sad, I know on principal I should say I would vote in a Democrat because of obvious reasons but I just couldn't vote for her.

I think some neo-cons are feeling the same thing, Anne Coulter said she would rather have Hillary in than McCain. I think all across the board people in their respected parties don't feel these are the type of people they want to represent them. (Except Obama, sorry but it's true)

But let's not get confused, there's no way in hell a neo-con would vote for Obama over McCain.

she's a terrible person that deserves to get hit with a bag of bricks but she also represents the stupid white neo-conservatives. I think most neo-cons don't want McCain to win, he's not godly enough.

One of Hillary's big arguements is that she has more experience than Obama. Most of what she lists as her experience is a load of story telling bull shit. During her time at first lady she lists several things she did like,


"I helped to bring peace to Scotland during a time of unrest"

What did she do? Hill-o-ramma did go to Scotland and visited a woman's group where she gave a speech about woman's rights or some crap.

She has several other things on her resume of experience just like that. It's really laughable. I think there should be a "forum on truth" where she sits down and goes through her resume point by point and explains how her statements like "bring peace during a time of unrest" are dervived from giving a single speech.

She is so full of shit.
