My legs are really hairy, so one of my friends decided to see how much money he could gather from my circle to wax my legs. Right now its at about $100. What i need to know is
1) how much does it hurt?

2)Worth it?

3) how long to grow back

I'm thinking im going to go get trashed one night and then do it so I wont feel it as much

waxing the chest hurts the most, it depends on how many nerve endings you have in your legs and how much pain tolerance you have.

I wouldn't do it, guys are suppose to have hairy legs/arms/chest. It's a bitch to accept that you're hairy but it's a lot easier than letting your drunk friends wax you, which is a terrible idea. I wouldn't let my friends touch me with wax, I once said I'd wax my chest for breast cancer but then we got told we weren't allowed. In hindsight I'm thankful my friends never got the chance, they'd be fucking violent with the wax.

Now waxing the shoulders/upper back is completly fine in my books. The more you do it the easier it becomes.

It will grow back quickly. I had to shave some hair of my leg in my medic training so they could attach some fake wound shit, and it didn't take long for it to come back.

The only issue is pain, and that comes down to your pain tolerance, and even chicks had to go through this their first times.

chicks hair is a lot thinner than ours, we have a fuck lot more hair on our legs than they do. It will hurt more, but it gradually hurts less. Waxing hurts us more than it hurts them.

Not really, it grows in thinner and looks more natural on girls. It also takes up to a month to grow back rather than shaving which is granted is less painful but looks like shit and grows back in a week. Eventually some girls stop having to shave or wax if they wax for a long period of time.

It would sure hurt a lot less than getting eyebrows or pubic hair waxed, and you can trust me on that one. And as Cops said, it'll take awhile before it comes back. Although if your friends do it to you, it might hurt more than a professional doing it, unless your friends know what they're doing.

But if your friends aren't doing it and they aren't with you, you could always cheat and just get some Nair. They'd never know, and it'd be pain free for you :P

EDIT: Or you could try sugaring, it's kinda like wax except you make it at home and it doesn't hurt as much. And take an ibuprofin or aspirin before you do it. And don't try to numb the area first, because that'll close the pores and make it hurt more. Take a long hot shower or bath to open up the pores and it won't hurt as bad.

The amount of pain you'll get from this will be intense it's no where near worth $100. If you were going to get $100 to get it professionally done then it would be worth it.

I still think it'd be worth it for $100. And Nair doesn't burn. Yes, it smells terrible, but you only leave it on for 8 minutes and it dissolves the hair down to the root. You'll only be stubble free for about 5 days though.

If you want the recipe for sugaring I can give it to you. It hurts less than waxing, because it sticks to only the hair, and not your skin. But of course you don't have to tell them that. :stuart:
