My mom gave me The Hobbit to read in like 2nd or 3rd grade. I liked Redwall books better, so I didn't read it. Nothing ever really renewed my interest in the LOTR series.5:gen> man

I suggest reading the series "A song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin (first book is "A game of thrones"). Everyone I know who has read both series has liked them better than The Wheel of TIme Series. Not that WoT is bad, I read them all and really liked it, but it just drags after about book 5 like Bilbo said.Comment
