I think my most expensive jeans are about $40.

A lot of discussion seems to evolve over how much things cost in different areas of the world. I just wanted to get a perspective about how much people spend on the little stuff. A lot of this stuff would change day to day, so just give a somewhat current number. (don't include sales/deals/i know a guy)

For example:

A gallon of gasoline : $3.25/gal
A bottle of namebrand water : $1.29 for a 20 oz. bottle of Dasani
A 6-pack of say Newcastle/other imports : $8.99
A 6-pack of say Budweiser/other domestics : $5.99
A dutchmaster cigar : $1.00
A McDonalds Doublecheeseburger : $1.00
An 1/8th of decently good weed : $45.00
An oz of crap weed : $60.00
Bus fare : $1.50
Going to see a movie : $5-$6 for students, $7-$8 otherwise

Also, some geographic information would help too:

Southeastern United States, City of 100,000-500,000 people

It depends on your style too, if you're the kind that just wears blue jeans and a hoodie, then it's the same whatever you wear.

Don't get me wrong though, one of my favourite jeans was bought for $40, and it's still great after 3 years. But the fabric, stitches, feeling, and fit are on a whole different level on the other jeans.

My upper limit for jeans are $300, but the range is higher for jackets. Got 2 duffelcoats for $1k and $1.2k in my closet.

And once again it's the question about income level again, what's expensive for you may not be expensive for me.

$200 is the cheapest pair of jeans you can find? I can get high quality jeans by going to name brand outlets or buying them second hand, 200 euros for one single pair of jeans is what I'd pay to rent a room per month.

Is kinda useless comparing things like Levi jeans because the quality changes from country to country, depending on the local market, value of currency etc. Say for instance in some parts of Europe there is a market for good quality jeans. and people are willing to pay. So Levi make the jeans using A-grade materials, but then charge $200 a pair. Then in Asia you can find Levi jeans labelled exactly the same but cost $50 a pair, and are made from C-grade materials.
