You make it sound like you are 40? I think most people that still play cont regularly are in the age range 18-23, not a huge difference I guess.

I think there's a good group of people who are 19 - 25, there is certainly a younger crowd but age varies all across the board. Look at 404, Dads Revenge and Ephemeral they're all in their 30's if not 40's/50's. Plus age doesn't mean shit, there's people who are 25 who are no more intellectual than a 14 year old.

(although we all know this game brings out the worst in people, so it's hard not to equate that immaturity with youthfulness and make sweeping generalizations.) all i'm saying is, i've pretty much finished up with the 18-23 stage of my life. i feel like i'd rather hang out with people my own age who are in the same place, developmentally/socially/etc.

sure, there are younger people with "old souls" (pardon the cliche) who i'm sure would be great to hang out with, but overall, based on experience, i'm going to have more fun if i go out with people who are riding along at my pace, the pace i'm at, at this point in my life. not to mention, i seem to have always found myself spending my time around people 3 to 5 years older than me anyway.

like i said, there are certainly exceptions. usually are, no matter what you're talking about. i have younger friends, just not a bunch of 'em.

on a side note, i bet most of the people i'd want to hang out with would probably be expecting a raving lunatic, so they'd be all stand-offish. and then the meet and greet would start out awkwardly and it might not be as fun as it otherwise could be. then again, if we're all sitting around drinking, it probably wouldn't be a big deal.
