Well, if they already have a plane 2/3 full or whatever they're going to fly it regardless of how many more people they get. Might as well get something out of those empty seats amirite

In Europe RyanAir, EasyJet and Virgin all sell flight tickets for 0.01€ on which customer pays taxes etc. the ticket end ups costing about 20 euros so I don't really see why $29 would be impossible for someone in US or Canada.

As for my trip, have any of you been in either Johnson Space Center in Houston or Kennedy Space Center in Florida as I would really like to see one of them. If anyone has opinion which would be better and easier to access by public transportation, it would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently its extra $15 to rent a car when I'm under 25 according to some car rental sites. Is there any company that wouldn't charge that money?

I love Mexcio, it's fucking beautiful but truthfully they look at you and see 'American', wear some sort of European or Canadian shirt. I still wouldn't visit anywhere except for the resorts and even then I'd be aprehensive to leave my hotel.

If you're going to the East Coast you should really check out Toronto or Montreal, even for a night or two. Montreal has an amazing youth hostel right beside the Bell Centre, cheap liquor, pub crawls and people your own age. It's something that might be of interest, considering traveling alone gets really lonely. 404 mentioned Niagara Falls, it's absolutely beautiful and just across the American border. Once you go from Buffalo aka 'a giant hole' to a clean place you'll want to explore more into Toronto.

              a little paranoid arn't we?

I lived 3 months in Mexico during one summer a few years ago, once you get used to the culture shock and the towns being divided by two sections (meaning one a gated community full of the "rich" mexicans, and the other being dirt shacks full of the "poor" mexicans) you can actually find really amazing stuff out there.

It's all about learning what places are safe and what places are not. It's like taking a trip to Manhattan... sure downtown is great but you get into the bronx or brooklyn and you can find some rough areas.

Anyway, whats he point of taking an adventure if your scared to go exploring.

On a side note, I remember watching that micheal moore film about guns in columbine and he went to Canada and basically they have no murders at all compared to the US. Like Detroit is top 10 murder cities in the US and the city across the lake in Canada had like 1 murder in 30 years or something... i duno

basically what im getting at is yeah canada is safe all that stuff blah blah, and mexico might not be canada, but mexico is pretty fun if you have balls enough to actually take the risk

EDIT: AND FYI: I'm not mexican or even latino, im straight caucasian, so its not like im saying this stuff because im some illegal alien or something

You also have to mention that those planes don't fly major airports. At least, not here in the Netherlands.

Bribing your way out of bullshit charges and getting thrown into jail for two-three years or 'disappearing' sounds like a lovely time. The federal cops are decent but the local cops are pieces of shit.

I love to travel and would love to make it a full-time job if that's even possible, (travel journalist, aka vice) or a travel writer. I think you start to realize that in some places they see a white face and think money, don't tell me that if you were stopped in Mexico while driving that you wouldn't stuff a shit load of your cash down your pants.

First of all I'm a liberal douche, this is a moot point but Micheal Moore completely misrepresented Canada in Sicko as well as Columbine. People kill other people, this is life and this happens everywhere. There has easily been over 100 murders alone in Toronto, we're not even talking about attempted murders. Don't give me that liberal propaganda that people don't stab or shoot each other in Canada. Don't also try and tell me that people don't wait 5-6 hours sometimes before they see a doctor in a hospital.

For the average person they just don't want to deal with bullshit, I'm fine with exploring and going where other people generally don't want to go but I'd advise people in Canada to realize that Mexicans are treating Canadians like shit and since we help fuel their economy it's time they smartened the fuck up. If you want to jail us and kill us for bullshit reasons then we'll fucking sink your tourist economy, which is what 70-80% of their average GDP? Go talk to a travel agent and find out how many Canadians won't go to Mexico and how much money we actually put into that country.

Cops, do realise that Micheal Moore was talking about murders with a firearm, not stabbings.

He is still prob wrong or misrepresents, but in the case of bowling for columbine, stabbings have nothing to do with it.

                          here's why.

We "deregulated" the industry but we still subsidize the shit out of it... meaning they have no incentives to compete economically. It's a government-created monopoly - the only type of monopoly that is harmful. (And the only type that's exempt from anti-trust laws).

Yeah but at the same time Moore pegged Canada as the safest place in the world, we're a lot better than Detroit but Detroit is a 'stand-out' problem in America. Can you really compare Toronto to a city that people call 'one of the worst cities in America'? Moore duped the American people into thinking our country is a) socialist and b) the safest place in the world. The 'Greater Toronto Area' has a lot less people compared to most American cities, frankly the more people there are the more problems there are, murders are relative to how many people your city has.

There is noticeable differences between our two countries, Buffalo NY is a big fucking hole (no offense to any New Yorkers) but once you cross that Canadian border you enter an area that looks like an old steel town run dry. I assume Michigan has the same depressing feel. Go to Niagara Falls in Ontario and see all the booming attractions and money that is made from the casino(s), it's fucking beautiful and really safe. It's huge money for Americans to come visit. Even the schools in Buffalo (D'Youville) are fucking begging us (Canadians) to come to school there, I think I mentioned before that they offered 20% off tuition for Canadians as well as 50% off residence (housing), and a shit load of scholarships. I think the point I was making is that Canada isn't fucking gum-drops and rainbows, we have real problems and real issues. You have to live here to kind of recognize problems such as the mass amounts of aboriginals who feel completely disenfranchised in this country and are at high risk of taking their own lives. We're a lot better off then most American cities though, I'm not even arguing that point.

edit: on a personal note if Canada's politics become heavily Americanized (more so than it already is) and you see our economy go right down the fucking tube (doubt it, our housing markets are a lot more stable than American markets) then I'm so fucking jumping boat and taking advantage of my ability to get a citizenship in the U.K.
