wow that doesn't even compare marijuana users, it compares people with depression.

It also stated that teens who suffer from depression and use marijuana more than once a month are three times as likely to have suicidal thoughts, compared directly to teens who do not use marijuana.

how many pot smokers smoke less than once a month? not enough for a legitimate study. those teens they're comparing them to don't have depression :/ also, it doesn't say how likely people with depression that DON'T use marijuana have suicidal thoughts. (which would be a better comparison anyway)

no, it doesn't state anything, b/c we can't see the report -- there's no link to it. also, who would take the conclusions of a study into consideration without first looking at the results?

I'm not surprised to see your current administration cook up false reports about this. I'm so little surprised that it doesn't even stir any emotions in me.

On the other hand, reading those comments make me smile inside. USA is the most influential country in the world when it comes to shit like this, and it's in USA the first steps for change is already happening. After I saw Super High Me, I was amazed to see what you have accomplished in California. This shows that it's just a matter of time before we will see more states legalizing it for medical purposes, and after that the step up to a complete legalization is small. When this happens, our government has no choice but to follow, and so will many other countries.

Keep fighting the good cause, I have faith in the American people.

Its amazing how people still cant figure out causation correlation.

I guess they saw how the suicide BULLSHIT worked for salvia (which is now looking to be banned in the majority of the other states that it wasnt banned in a few years ago) and are trying that tactic. Nothing will make a parent more crazy than telling them their kid will kill themselves if they breath in a plant.

Im sure the marijuana had everything to do with the depression. Not the depression, leading to marijuana, hell, I bet he would have done it sooner had he not smoked.

It looks worse than it really is because of the flash; the top thin plastic layer is completely worn down on the lower half of the space key and there is a fair amount of tar residue from smoking all over it. Still, the keys get boiling water treatment once a month, so it's definitely cleaner than your own.

And Noah, I've smoked pot maybe 10 times in my life and not one of them was close to pleasant. I've developed a pathological hatred of weed ever since my stepfather had been smoking at home with his idiotic buddies for over a year; he's gone now. The residue is purely from cigarettes and is quite probably also the reason I had to replace my PC's power supply three times in the last 6 years, they all got fried sooner or later.

not that i'm condoning the restriction of drugs, but salvia is way more dangerous than pot.

I know that plenty of people use it safely, but i'd say the high (at least the couple of times i did it) was more like being really drunk/confused for 10 mins or so. I know the first time i smoked it i fell down the stairs to my back door, just b/c i wans't expecting it to hit like that. Not saying that it should be illegal, but i could see how the casual drug user (casual not recreational) could seriously harm themselves or even think they're going crazy by smoke sage and not knowing what to expect. (i guess the same could be said about weed, but i don't think too many people get fubar'd off of THC the 1st time anyway)
