Create your free Custom Ringtones

I know, free seems to be a theme from me lately, huh? But this one is pretty neat and I'm sure others here have wanted to get a program like this.

I just found this program today looking for ways to get custom ringtones for my Voyager. It's free and not too hard to figure it out once you get going. Just make sure you have a way to plug in your phone to the computer.

You can import any mp3 and then chop it down to size and upload it to the phone. Also works with video for on the go play, you can edit your phone book and save your texts. It's a cool cell utility program, check it.

I created a ringtone on my cell from the movie Transylvania 6 5000. If you've ever seen the movie, I stole the telephone ring from that.

You can use http://www.myxer.com/ to freely download ringtones or upload your own, and then dowload them. It works especially nice for Verizon, I think, but I could be wrong (My friends at college used it all the time, I only used it once when I lost my cable to me PC)

But, I prefer to use my data cable, they'd mad cheap on ebay for 3rd party onces that work just as nicely. Then, it's as simple as choosing which data setting to set it on before plugging it in (Mass storage for transferring pictures, movies, music, and ringtones and data service for backing up my contacts and text messages and games and what not).

I broke the shit out of my old phone's display... I dunno what happened but I think I ran into something really hard, because it crushed through my outside display and ruined the internal one as well (flip phone). So I bought the same one off ebay and used that as a way to know how to navigate through the stuff to set it to data service and upload my contact list so I didn't lose everyone's number and my 1gb microSD card saved everything else.



I was actually just thinking of putting new games on my phone. I use http://game-thing.com/junction.php which allows em to upload .jar or .jad files and installs them automatically on my phone for free, using the data cable and the data service setting. Good times, good times.

This(like most I've tried) is just a trial version and only converts a portion of the song.

i used to use www.tonethis.com

worked pretty well, sometimes it would take a looooong time for me to receive the message, but most of the time it worked spot-on. Only thing i didn't like is that you can't send them from your phone to someone else, other than that, it's great.
