Bram, yesterday was a great stage with Mentsjov and Sastre (and Kohl and Valverde) on the offense, tomorrow and wednesday should be good too.

yesterday was soooo good, fucking evans (nor his team) has/have done FUK ALL in 2 weeks, and then first real mountain stage and BOOM, he can't even hold anyone's wheel. so good!!

too bad i gotta work all day tuesday and wednesday, i'll probably just have to watch the one hour summary on eurosport. but yeah only way to enjoy a good mountain stage is to watch it from the start till finnish.


ps. still although i'm glad evans isn't winning atm; who to cheer for? menchov.. because he's in rabobank maybe. but he's still a boring russian. sastre.. zzzz.. kohl just looks annoying haha, valverde is my hero but bit far behind and not a real climber nor time-trialist, he's only good in the final kilometer of a race.. the schleck-bro's are i guess kinda cool, but i dunno... i really need to find someone i can cheer for. kreuzinger/nibali need to start attacking early on to make things interesting... or ten dam.. lol.

It is not that much of a surprise really Bram, you saw the same thing last year in the Rabobank team when Rasmussen had the yellow, the entire team did things they normally wouldn't do.

I am pretty sure Gesink and Dekker will go together, Mollema, haven't seen too much of him, but I hear his talent is up par with that of Gesink and Dekker. And I know there is another guy but I cant remember who it is.

Anyway, I hope Gesink will get the Rasmussen role next year, take an early flight in a mountainstage and grabbing the dotted jersey. He has the talent for it. IMO I think they played the Menchov card too much, ten Dam should have had more freedom to escape, and if really needed he could always fall back. Langeveld too, he is young he needs the room to be able to try to escape and not just sit around Menchov.
