I don't need you, or myself, to write/speak/think/act/hear/touch/or whatever in a sensationalist (don't gossip papers do this?) tone to be able to think for myself. It doesnt matter what kind of thought patterns give way to thoughts like The police are all morally upstanding people. Some people will always think for themselves, others will follow the rest.Originally posted by TagMor View PostI flew off the handle?..lol..
The reason I write in a sensationalist tone is not to gain any supporters.. It's as a contrast to the reserved tone of modern mainstream thinking.. the kind of thought patterns that give way to fantasies like "The police are all morally upstanding people".. or "pharmaceuticals are wholesome and only exist for the benefit of people's health".. Which confines peoples ability to think for themselves.. Even if consciously you think i am a nut, my point of view will (hopefully) have some effect, and help people better discern the world for themselves.Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

Just do yourself a favour and quit while you're ahead.
PS: you're not really ahead, I just said that to be nice. Would you be my e-friend?

I'm afraid of not getting a job. I'm afraid of being unfairly labeled a 'criminal'. I'm afraid of the pretty brutal legal system. And yes, I'm afraid of what my parents would do if they ever found out - I have an understanding with my parents which is, "do what you like, just don't get arrested".Originally posted by Zerzera View PostYou don't want your future employer to know of your contemptible behavior, yet you are not planning on stopping. What is it that you are afraid of?
Bringing alcohol to a camping trip isn't a weakness, it's a "national pasttime". I'm already in the workforce, regardless - one of the first people I told was my manager. That when you want to enter the workforce you will not find anyone that will take you for what you are worth, regardless of your weakness?
I didn't get caught - my pal did. If I ever get busted - as in, facing-jail-time busted - then I'll go crazy libertarian in court.Going through the memories I have of your posts, you do nothing but -willingly- break the laws of your country on this matter, but you will not man up when you get caught.
I don't give a fuck about my 'appearance', I give a fuck about my 'record'.You don't want the officer to do his work so that you can keep up appearances?
Let's see, if you dig through the "memories you have of my posts", you'll find a few thingsYou are a sellout and a hypocrite.
1) I disagree with the fact that many, many things are illegal, including marijuana
2) I have never, ever, ever said that obeying authority is good
3) I have never commented one way or another on this particular subject, so I can't have a hypocritical stance if I don't have a stance.
Perhaps you are not aware, but cops in the US have a reputation for disobeying more laws than I ever could. Would you like to see a video of a cop from my city beating up a woman?
In this day and age, if you refuse to cooperate with the police, there's a good chance you'll get fucked up, like not fucked by the law, but physically fucked up. My principles are grounded in respect for property and non-aggression. The law doesn't hold these in very high regard. My actions were very consistent with what I stand in. If I was a hypocrite, I would have followed the cop home, wiretapped him without his knowledge, then indefinitely detained him in Gitmo. Add a little torture and a few phony trials and yeah, then I'd be a hypocrite.
I think I did the best I could do given the situation - if I hadn't taken the ticket, my friends would be in jail. Is being a good friend "selling out"? If that's the common consensus in Europe, it would explain alot.
I'm young and I want a clean record, but I also happen to believe that half the shit I do that's illegal, shouldn't be. If I keep a clean record, amongst other things, one day I might be able to change something.

What the fuck are you talking about? I meant the part when someone snitched on him about having weed in his car. What does him volunteering to take the charge have to do with anything lol! You're the one who didn't read the first post, Cops. Either that or you're just plain dumb.Originally posted by Cops View Postwait a second didn't jerome just say,

no one snitched on him for the weed. It's just a ploy by the cops, hoping they can find some weed. having alcohol underaged is one thing, but having it when you are like 18-20ish range on a camping trip is something else. The cops could really care less about the alcohol, it was the weed that would of gotten them a good bust.Originally posted by Ward View PostWhat the fuck are you talking about? plus jerome also mentioned this by saying that alcohol and teenagers usually go hand and hand with weed, so that was why the cops had reasonable cause to ask, but jerome saw thru this and the cops had nothin.sigpic

ahem...this.Originally posted by Troll King View PostExcept for the part where he said he helped him hide "his artwork and anything else that might be incriminating", right? Isn't that aiding and abetting when he's helping to hide stuff he knows his friend is guilty and the stuff is incriminating?
I was guilt of hiding some of his various artwork in my closet. I also had prior knowledge of his actions and didn't uphold my "civic duty" by reporting him. Part of the reason I didn't make more of a stink was because I was hiding things. We didn't have drugs, but we had paraphernalia and more art that could be used as evidence so I wasn't trying to force them into getting a warrant.
Doesn't justify everything they did, but given the circumstances I was lucky not to get dragged in too.Originally posted by ToneWomen who smoke cigarettes are sexy, not repulsive. It depends on the number smoked. less is better

Let's try this again, no one snitched on Jerome, you fucking e-tard. The cops were trying to bait him into admitting that he had weed in his car. If the cops got it out of his friends that Jerome had weed in his car they wouldn't bother trying to get Jerome into admitting that he had weed in his car, instead they would have simply started to search the car.Originally posted by Ward View PostWhat the fuck are you talking about? Jerome volunteering to take the charge has to do with everything, it also doesn't make him less respected in his group of friends but more respected for looking out for his friends who could have easily got fucked over from something like this. If you don't read what he posts then don't bother replying, you fucking fool.Last edited by Cops; 08-06-2008, 06:42 PM.it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did

spoken from someone who truly has no idea how the government works. In this instance, he came up to the car and saw an empty beer can. In other instances, the person was acting 'suspicious'. This can have a very wide range of definitions, however police officers are rightfully given some lenience on being able to do their jobs for a reason. The system isnt 'fucked' if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing. Personally if I got caught and someone wrote me up for it, I would say 'what a douche' and move on as best I could. You are taking a risk whenever you do something you KNOW is illegal. Generally if you're polite with cops they wont be huge dickheads to you, which clearly happened in this case seeing as how jerome got off easy.Originally posted by paradise! View PostThat doesn't make sense..how can he have probable cause to search just because you refuse the search?
