Stayon> That type of thing, when you're married for 50 years but you know you fucked up when you dropped chilli sause on your elitist rich boss, while crossing the cafeteria's lunch zone, getting you fired, because you were distracted admiring the cleaning lady's ass that you beated off to, when your sluggish wife and two retarted kids were asleep.

people play this competitively? i know i've seen it in the olympics, but honestly i've NEVER seen anyone playing this sport outside of a friendly back yard game. the people who always want to be a pro confuse me. Unless it really is your favorite thing to do (side note soccer was my favorite thing to do for a while) then there's virtually no way to keep up with the training needed to be a professional. The sooner this kids learns that being a professional athelete isn't really a good goal to have, the better. I've seen so many people waste time and effort instead of learning and having fun, it's not even funny. I voluntarily gave up soccer because i wanted more time to do other things, not because i wasn't good enough to continue to compete. Typical 15 yr old..fffffffff_____

Aw, you striving to be a professional badmiton player too? It's ok, I wouldn't suggest killing yourself over it. I mean, there's a lot of fame and fortune to be made from wasting your life in the pursuit of becoming a professional shuttlecock swinger, but I'd stick to mastering continuum if i were you.Originally posted by Kim View PostThat's quite ignorant but we'll forgive you..fffffffff_____

This basically tells me that you've either never been outside of the U.S. or outside of someone's backyard.Originally posted by DankNuggets View Postpeople play this competitively? i know i've seen it in the olympics, but honestly i've NEVER seen anyone playing this sport outside of a friendly back yard game. the people who always want to be a pro confuse me.TelCat> i am a slut not a hoe

while I've never been outside the US, i really would like to if you wouldn't mind footing the bill

and i actually read the damn post, so I'm pretty aware of at least the leagues in the UK.

also, one of my best friend's father played a hell of a lot of badminton, and even went to referee/judge it at the Atlanta Olympics in '96. I'm aware it's popular on an international level.

What you all failed to see was my emphasis of how I said I've never seen it played. Meaning that there isn't any coverage of any badminton (outside of a couple Olympic games). Meaning that there isn't a huge badmidton following (at least where I live, after all I said "I've NEVER seen"). Meaning that I don't even know if there's a National League or anything like it in the US. Meaning that there isn't any fame or fortune (comparatively) to be made in pursuing a professional career in badminton. Meaning that I'm perfectly justified in poking fun at the sport, and making the post that I made.
