Casino Stories... Did you win/lose? etc

I spent 3 days in vegas and didnt sleep a wink. One of the few memories I recall is of walking into some hugeass dome? and the roof was painted like the sky,and they had all these weird looken plants n shit.. was kinda like willy wonkers chocolate factory.
In Melbourne i met the founder of Globe shoes. he was handing out $100 chips.
Also once, A friend and I were sharing a toilet cubicle, and kinda forgot where we were and just started talking and shit.. musta been in their for atleast 1/2 an hour... THen when we opened the cubicle door we see a security dude standing in the corner.. then about 10 other security chumps walk in, seperated us, and started drilling us about a piece of foil on the floor of the cubicle.. We basically laughed in their face and asked if they wanted to join us. Then they walked us out of the toilets and let us continue with our night.

The one thing i dont understand is people who sit on the slot machines when they can walk over to a roulette table and get way better odds.

I play poker, blackjack, craps, and towards the end of the night, roulette... In melbourne they usta have 2up but they killed it.. was best beer game eva.

Edit: that movie "21" is shit.. i bet it was funded by online poker sites.. trying to suck in stupid young people who think they can beat it.

Oh also when I went to niagara falls I went to both casinos, one broke even and the other I was down like $40 bucks, with the intent of spending no more then $50, was playing this 3-wheel slot machine thing where I think you could only win off of line 1 (straight across, through the middle). Max bet was 3 tokens or whatever it was, and I was betting 3... then for some reason I decided to only bet 2... Sure enough, I landed on the highest payout. I was pissed because I didn't bet 3, and only won like $150 rather then $600 or something like that, but at the same time wondered had I bet 3, would it still have landed on that.

I joined one of those group arrangements in the local casino once. After a decent meal everyone got 8 euros worth of chips and obviously most of us gambled that away.
I ended up playing blackjack as roulette takes too long for me and I would only play red/black anyway. At one point I was up 30 euros and quit while still 20 ahead. Was fun, but obviously if you looked at what people walked out of the casino with, we wouldve been better off keeping the 8 euro on average

I was on vacation in Montreal, I was just of age and I really wanted to experience a casino. It was a semi small trip with 4-5 buddies, we got loaded every night and spent every cent we had. It was nearing the end of my trip, I had one night left and having $15 bucks in my account I had enough cash to feed myself the next day. My buddy agreed to lend me $30 and we headed to the casino, I started playing craps having no clue what I was doing the guy raking in the dice explained the game and pretty much told me what to do. I was up to $120, I lost $20 and decided to call it quits. I stopped by a slot machine on the way out and won another $30, so I was now up to $130. I paid my buddy back and we met the other people at the bar, I drank down that money within a few hours. I woke up the next day and calmly said 'fuck me' to myself after realizing I could have at least saved $20 to get the girlfriend something or possibly had enough money to eat something better than friggin Mcdonalds.

all in all good experience. I've been several times and the most I lost at one time was $80.

I have been to the Casino like 6/7 times now, and I have never lost money. I go with friends and we spend like 25 euro max. Last time we went I was about to lose all my money, so I decided I would throw away the last bit I had in a slot machine and on about my last credits I hit something good (I still dont know what I did) and I got back all my money + 10 euros. I called it quits right there.

I never win much, I think my highest is like 25 euros on 1 evening, but at least I have never lost any money.

In blackjack, roulette, craps, etc you are playing against the house i thought.

Seems like better odds not to play poker, unless your just really good at it.

depends.. roulette and craps are fixed odds. blackjack the skill of the dealer effects your chances, and they are usually pretty good. With the general shadyness of casinos I wouldnt be surprised if they had some other way of gaining advantage either..
Poker isnt hard to be good at.. the main thing is to be patient. Its unlikely you will get a table full of hardcore pros, and its alot of fun when you rape drunk people with lots of money.

I never went to a casino to gamble unfortunately. I know the indian hardrock casino was 30 minutes away, but when I was there, I didn't gamble.

I'm sorta saving myself for the big one.
