I'm pretty sure the only thing he does is starts off with a texture that he uses for a planet. Even then, he most likely manipulates it to create a unique planet with a unique characteristics (mountains, rivers, etc.). The clouds can be done with brushing techniques as well as the nebulas. It takes a lot of time, skill, and effort to create all of those into one of his spacescapes.Comment

I make everything from scratch. I used some textures on the planet although I tried painting more on it. Used around 50 textures which mostly were from my camera anyway. Then clued some stuff together from every photo to get the stuff I want. Then I started painting rivers, mountains and stuff. Once that is done I color it, that usually is the most annoying part after 6 hours of clueing. (4000x4000px isn't that small piece to make)
Once that is done I make it into a sphere and it literally takes weeks to make something. That's why I try to keep the size small sometimes when I'm just experimenting.
And if you want a wallpaper just save it, rotate with windows paint or the viewer and put as desktop. Might be a bit blurry but should work enough good for you..2:Galaxy Turbo> Jab?
