Best Buy is one big electronic playground that involves me spending more than an hour there spending money I don't have on electronics I don't need. God damn, I fucking love that place.

i'd take circuit city over best buy anyday, but that's solely based on the employees and business practices. Best buy is a much cooler store, but they are asshats.

not that i have too much of a choice now, since circuit city decided to close all but one store in my city (best buy going strong with 3-4).

was generally cheaper, and I liked their installation people a lot better.


that and best buy charge me a 15% restocking fee on a fucking clamshell plastic package. The product they sold me was broken, i returned it. they confirmed it was broken from teh beginning, yet they also inform me I have to pay ~20.00 to exchange it. It is not possible to open a clamshell package without destroying it. You will ALWAYS have to get a new package to return these products, it's fucking stupid to charge a 15% fee regardless of the value of the product. No way it costs $20.00 to put that broken item in some thin plastic. It's not like they could repackage it and sell it anyway, it was broken Vowed to never buy from them again if I could help it (though i'm sure everyone has those ridiculous restocking fees).

If it was defective, that's not right. Used to work there and never had that issue. Stupid employees ftw.

I also worked at Best Buy and I don't understand how you'd have to pay a restocking fee on an item that was broken. Wait I do, some of their employees don't know their face from their ass. My only complaint about Best Buy, specifically the one I worked at was that it was run by mainly middle age white guys who may or may not have completed high-school. Dealing with some of those tards wanted to make me snap, fucking bullshit.

Though it sucks that Friday's gonna be even colder... and with this ongoing bus strike it's gonna suck walking 40 minutes downtown in the morning to get to school @.@

Damn, it's -15 here with windchill and I thought that was bad. Although it is pretty bad when you spend ~15 minutes walking to class in the giant windtunnel known as Columbus, Ohio. I'm just glad my dorm is on the 23rd floor and all the heat rises to us.
