People like Apollo Astronaut Edgar Mitchell and Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer have told the public many times that the government is not telling you the truth about the Extraterrestrial Presence and that we need to have a disclosure.

2 key events in the disclosure movement is when witnesses of high rank and station came forward at the national press club in 2001 and 2007. The 2001 conference was held by Dr Steven Greer, founder of Eceti and the disclosure project. The 2007 conference was held by coalition for freedom of information and moderated by former Governor of Arizona, Fife Symmington.

Some of these witnesses were pilots or other military positions that had direct contact with what could only be concluded to be an intelligently controlled, highly advanced craft.

The truth embargo on UFOs and the ET presence began in 1947 with the Roswell incident which includes over 200 witnesses, some with direct testimony confirming the ET craft side of the story. This truth embargo has gone on for 61 years and witnesses began to come forward in greater numbers starting in 1992 after the end of the cold war. This began the era of Exopolitics and Disclosure.

In the 1990s Laurence Rockefeller wrote the president's staff and president about the disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence and shortly after, Hillary Clinton visited his ranch. This and all the exchange of letters (available online) has become known as the Rockefeller Initiative (google it for the docs from clinton library declassified). Key people involved are now in the Obama administration and John Podesta was the transition team head. He stated in 2003 at the national press club that it was time to open up the books on UFOs.

When Bush and cheney were campaigning for the presidency, Cheney was asked if he was briefed about the subject of UFOs which he replied "That's classified" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZ01hcdzxSI ). When asked if he would open the UFO files, Bush laughed and said "sure , ill do that". The Bush administration ended up being the most closed and secret government and very non conducive to disclosure for 8 years.

This brings us to today, The bush adminstration is out, and Obama and people who were involved in the Rockefeller initiative are in. Obama has promised more open government and a transparent administration, as stated on whitehouse.gov . knowing the opportunity we had to move toward disclosure, the FaxOnWashington Project was launched and Obama was sent thousands of letters during the transition period calling for disclosure

UFO news coverage is on the rise since the Chicago Tribune on Jan 1 2007 reported the Ohare UFO incident in which pilots and airline employees observed a Saucer UFO hovering over gate C-17 which then sped off, punching a hole into the overcast. The Ohare incident occurred on Nov 7th 2006, the same day as midterm elections, and so according the the extraterrestrial context communication theory, this is a symbolic context political communication. Obama is from Chicago.

WHy do all the ufo enthusiasts presume they are friendly? Are there any militia groups preparing for a hostile encounter?
I mean if they are flying around in plain view of people and havent bothered to say hello, it would suggest htey are not too big on diplomatic relations... Oh and then there is the whole thing with abducting and mutilating animals and people..
