One of the better online shows is Mayne Street on ESPN.com. It's extremely well produced and Kenny Mayne's comedic timing is dead on. It has extended scenes and is a great show to watch if your a sports fan like me.

yeah had to catch the encore last night. it wasn't exactly what i expected, but it looked like he put a lot of work into the episode. (wasn't just standup).

looking forward to more of this show, and hopefully some of the transitions get a little less awkward.

Deny, one of the better written shows on primetime cable television. I just love awkard humor, but Curb Your Enthusiasm takes it to levels that my belly laughs can't handle (got a 6 pack from laughing, wanna fight?). I can see why people would hate these shows, and I do think The Office is walking too fine a line of sitcom and straight comedy... perhaps delving too deep into character description, but I enjoy it.

e: 30 Rock on the other hand is pretty straight forward as far as character relations go. Tina Fey is a nerdy cute girl who works too hard, that blonde chick is dumb and full over herself, Aleck Baldwin is Aleck Baldwin, and Tracy Morgan is Tracy Morgan (btw, they get most of his lines from just rehearsing on the set).

i enjoy both of the shows quite a bit, especially 30 rock. i just really enjoy tina fey's style of comedy.

i watched east bound and down this week. has anyone watched that? it's starring danny mcbride (foot-fist way, that guy from pineapple express who just wouldn't die) who is pretty comical. it's produced by will ferrell and adam mckay. it follows a pitcher who's far out of his prime and he subtitute teaches and somehow at the end of the episode ends up with a highschool baseball coach job. the episode dragged sometimes, but i think that was primarily because it was a pilot episode and it just needed to work out it's kinks. i think there's a lot of promise for it and as the season goes on it should get better. the cocaine montage was just great.

Danny Mcbride has been pretty solid as a supporting actor, I saw Fist Foot Way, which I believe was one of his first movies as lead. Overall the movie was god awful except for 2-3 scenes. I'll give the show a shot since the dude has been good in Seth Rogen's movies, but Fist Foot Way fuckin stank.

Fuckin stank might be a little harsh since the movie did have some pretty funny one liners. I still think the movie would have been gold if they had real actors, a budget, and someone to edit the script. Not worth paying for at least.

saw a marathon of Dead Like Me. it was pretty entertaining, and had me for about 4-5 episodes before the main charater's non-stop pouting really started to piss me off. That, and i think dead people shouldn't arbitrarily appear as normal people.

but it was pretty good, i'm thinking about going back and trying to find it on the interwebz somewhere.

For all those saying Dmitri martin is funny.."wtf?". I saw him do a couple standups, and the guy is completely awful. I hear the audience laughing and i'm questioning whether there is a triple-meaning to his joke which was intended for a double. Absolutely not funny at all. Guarantee his show gets cancelled.
