MMORPG for American Football (EG vs TW, anyone?)

First of all, HUGE THANK YOU to Maverick who totally fixed my TW forum account! YEY FOR AWESOME STAFF! *clap clap* Love that guy, he always helps me.

Anyway, my name is arue (aka EuRa) and I hail from Extreme Games. For proof that I am not a bot and therefore not advertising to make money visit this link: (HERE). You'll see I'm an admin on the EG forum staff, along with the SYSOPs and SMODs of EG, so I'm totally legit. Feel free to sign up there and say hi.

ANYWAY!

We EGers got together and made a football team on the only known MMORPG website for American Football that exists. We did this within the last few weeks, and our first game (Season 8) is tomorrow! WOOT! I thought it would be fun if TW made 40+ players and a team, and you joined our league (Africa #5) and played us!

It's called: Goal Line Blitz. If you go to this site and make a free profile, you can make 1-3 players (depending on what position you make) and form a team (TW TEAM?). If there are enough players, you guys should get together and form a team like we did! If you are even cooler, get into the Africa league, and hopefully you can be placed with us!

This game is rather in-depth, but doesn't require a lot of your time. Just by logging in once every 2 days, you can update everything you need within 5 minutes. Or, if you are an NFL nut like myself, it could consume your life (hahahaha). I was an addict, but I'm getting better.

Anyway, if you are interested, SIGN UP HERE! It's 100% free to play, but if you guys wanted to form a team, someone would have to shell out like 5 bucks, like I did for the EG team. Oh yeah I just wanna add, that if you guys do make profiles and you do play for a few weeks, and are tired of playing on random CPU teams, I will sign you to our team so you can see how it works. Then you can venture off next season (40 days) and make your own. I won't leave ya hanging!

Yer rite ther Soild. We us Americans arr all so so stoopid! It must be so easy to judge everything in life based on the type of people who are mostly involved with them.

Some will no doubt take a glance at where I come from, or the sport I want to promote, and shake their heads and mutter something to themselves about football, hooligans, and having a low IQ. But the sport itself is anything but "dumb". Football is actually quite a cerebral pursuit. A few might even go so far as to say it's the most intellectual sport on the planet, and I wouldn't be one to object.

Football is strategically complex and beautifully intricate. It's trench warfare performed as ballet, in which each man on the field must play his part with grace, timing, and precision. It is a game demanding deliberation and planning, much like chess. Once you look past the superficial "tackiness", you're left with a game most fans don't completely understand, even after watching it for years.

I'm not attempting to change your mind, soild, but I do wish you to not judge a book by its cover. I take offense to your back-handed stab, but I'm sure you would feel this way had I done the same to you. I was merely trying to organize something I thought would be a fun and challenging for everyone involved. And with one remark, you (maybe some-what foolishly) supposedly represented on behalf of what all TW euros believe. There was really no reason for what you said, so I am befuddled as to why you would do it in the first place.

I'm disregarding your response. Despite what you said, I do not hate Euros and I do not hate TW players. I still encourage anyone reading this who wants to join to do so on your own accord, and to please contact me if you need a "home". Thank you.

I myself like American Football but I have no idea how to actually play it, I just watch it and enjoy seeing the Superbowl etc. Maybe there are more ideas like this one to get EG and TW involved in something together, maybe a type of league where we play in your zone and you play in ours. I used to play EG myself a couple of years ago and I'm sure there are a lot of other TW players who still play or used to play EG too (I'm Tunes, ex The Grid, Caliban etc.) so that shouldn't be a problem competitiveness wise. More ideas anyone?

We did this once before in starcraft, or whatever that game was, back in 1999. I know for a fact that there is a HUGE WoW clan where everyone in EG is a part of it, dunno if TW did that.

As far as playing in each others zones, that's always been something that is viewed as hard to do. They are so different. When EG goes down, we all go to TW and get on the same freq and try to take over an area. It usually works right off the bat, until TW vets find out what's going on, then jump in and dominate us, rofl. That's about as much zone-on-zone action as I've seen. Many of us don't like TW because it's so slow.

Why do you guys not like EG? Just curious.
