Never heard of the "Hard Style Klowns" but i can guess they are some kids who are trying to claim shit on the internet for e-cred.
I'm not sure anyone could claim creation of the shuffle.. it was a collective effort that evolved from many different techniques, and different elements of it were created by different people.
The shuffle has existed on Melbourne dance floors since the early 90's. If these posers created it, how come no one has heard of htem until now? Which coincedently coincides with the shuffle being whored all over you-tube?

This leads to another point; The Rave Scene was once about freedom of expression and consciousness. The environment that allowed the shuffle to grow, was one of not giving a fuck and doing w/e you felt like. It was pure freedom of inhibitions.
That scene is just about dead now, due to new-generation kids who think it is somekind of competition or battle of who can flip the sickest tricks.
You fucks saw the beauty (or leetness) in the scene, but never bothered to understand the underlying elements that nurtured such beauty.
You commercialised and raped it until it is a sterile and emotionally-barren shell that you see today.

Actually, they came out with the style in the early 1980s.
I didn't meant to say HSK came out with the "shuffle" style themselves(even though it sounds exactly like that), what i meant to say is they're more well-known for it. Malaysians are also pretty popular in their culture for shuffling.

I don't know why people call it "hsk shuffling" when hsk is just a group. If anything, call is "hsd shuffling" or just hsd? (hard style dancing)

The shuffle was not created in the early 80's. Hardstyle music was not even around in the early 80's.
Furthermore, I have been heavily involved in the scene for a long time, including being a promoter for a premier Melbourne dance club, and the first time I heard of the "Hard Style Klowns" was Summa's post.

Oh and yeh people shuffle all over the world now, but there is no doubt of where it was born, and the name "Melbourne Shuffle" is in respect of this.
