Dallas Cop prevents family from seeing their mother in hospital minutes before death

That's all true Displaced but when the nurse comes out and tells the cop it's a code blue situation she's gonna pass away soon and his response is to just stand there and continue writing out the ticket and ignore her... it doesn't matter if they guy has dealt with shit in his time as an officer. If the job can destroy your compassion and basic human sympathy for another person then you have to ask if race played a role because I don't think that can happen.

I personally don't like cops, but you have got to give them a hand for having one of the most thankless jobs on the planet...

#1) If you are speeding and running red lights, expect to be stopped by the cops.

#2) If you come off as an arrogant asshole, i.e. "you're wasting my time", you are asking for more trouble...

This would've been a non issue if Mr.NFL Above The Law Superstar would've just cooperated with the Officer.

1) He wasn't speeding, had his hazard lights on and waited for the only other person on the road in the early morning to wave him by before he made the turn into the hospital on the red light

2)He's not being arrogant when his mother in law is literally dying as they're down there talking to the cop

He wasn't going 80 miles an hour in daytime or nighttime traffic, it was the early morning and he was going slow with his hazard lights on- he didn't even mention that he plays in the NFL. His mother in law had precious little time left so of course he's going to be on edge, anyone would be- in fact I'm surprised he was as calm as he acted in the video, I don't know if I could have done the same.
