Gotta make sure that the chick you have your eyes on is not actually a guy! At least in Rio. Been to Sao Paulo and preferred it hands down over Rio. Rio to me was too much of a shallow tourist attraction.

Sao Paulo is just as much a tourist trap, but I prefer the restaurants, architecture and various cultures over that of Rio.
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

i want to go to florianpolis maybe this winter when it gets cold, it depends on how good my Portuguese /Spanish is by then
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

So you give an example of a single mine's demise and then use it as somekind of model for Australia's economic status?.. Hmm..
BTW, those unemployed miners will be given public housing, free medical care, and enough welfare payments to support them and their families until they find alternative employment.
These problems are seen worldwide is not immune to all the problems this world faces noting today’s economic and environmental issues at hand.
I never said we were completely immune, just in a much better position than the U.S.
as they are noted as having problems due to run-off waste from mining, agriculture and human development as to what TagMor says has created “a cesspool of waste and pollution"
          .
          LMAO..
Right because run-off waste from mining is in the same league as dumping toxic waste into rivers, nuclear meltdowns, and industrial chemical run-off.
To say Australia is immune to the environmental, work force and pollution problems that the faces is somewhat odd. Australia will have the same problems the US has, maybe not at this moment, but all things follow a similar pattern and who knows...perhaps it will hit Australia worse than it has the US?
Right.. because we have no welfare system, millions of homeless people, and we are littering our country with polluting factories and nuclear powerstations.

You obviously have not seen the long term effects of mining and the run off that gets into the water tables and what the end result can be. Visit West Virginia and or Kentuky sometime and see the results of the children due to the mothers using well water tained by mine run-off.

BTW...the point of the mineral mining comment on my end was that the mine closed as are others that soon will be due to mining be done with cheaper labor in other countries. get use to being out sourced for cheap labor!

As for my using one example, at least its was current and not dated material from a chart of which the info is 3 years old but dated 2008.

You're an uptight lil scrotum Tag...I was not attacking you and was looking for a sensible comment, but you must be the solo retard from Down Under someone asshole. WHy would you have made such a comment when I was only suggesting a possibility of:

They are completely different scenarios. The majority of Australia's mines are located far from any Human inhabitance. Also, while the U.S' mining industry boomed during the early-mid 20th century (and earlier), Australia's is booming now, and with a much better understanding of environmental impacts.

Maybe for some common minerals, however Australia has dominating amounts of certain rare/valuable elements and is insulated from outsourced cheap labor due to these minerals being held in Australian soil.

Yeh I'm sure the U.S is in a much better position now... LOOOOOOOOL

In regards to the environment, I very much doubt it. Most of the environmental damage caused in the U.S was either:
During an era when we were unaware of the possible consequences of unchecked Industry, etc.
A product of the advanced Industry in the U.S, including the military industry. Which Australia does not have, nor desire.
Or a result of the massive population and their wasteful/polluting lifestyle.
In regards to workforce: Yeh Australia will have somewhat of a downturn in employment, but there are much greater social infrastructure to prevent a scenario such as the masses of people who are denied shelter, food and medical treatment, like that in the U.S.
