Those are all too small to feel unless you're right on them. Being in an earthquake is pretty insane though. I had fun with my last one, though. I had to hold the TV in the living room up while dodging falling objects.
Yeah it's really interesting at how many earthquakes happen in California on a daily basis. What's even more interesting is that California is past due for a huge fucking earthquake. Those living along the San Andreas Fault will be in for a rude awakening.
EDIT: I have only experienced 2 big earthquakes in my lifetime. The first time I was taking a shit and I would have been screwed big time. The second time I was riding my bike and I guess my shocks were good because I didn't feel it and there was apparently a lot of damage.
when i was living in washington some 15 years ago there was a big earthquake.. i lived in everett, wa. i remember looking at the wall and it looked as if a giant was outside pushing it inward.
my family and I walked outside onto the apartment complex's field where everyone else had gathered and assessed the situation, radios in hand. I remember looking at the complex's pool and it was still swooshing back and forth, probably 5 minutes after it had happened (or maybe it was from an aftershock i dont remember)
I have family on the coast just outside L.A and there is a house nearby that has moved about 20metres in the last 10years. It is abandoned now and about 5metres from falling in the ocean.

If television and movies are correct, you have nothing to worry about with earthquakes. now volcanoes, that's another story all together. Plenty of box office volcano movies set on the west coast.
Living in the Bay Area or anywhere along the san andreas you really try not to think about the big one comming. It comes when it comes there is nothing you can do about it so you dont worry about it until it hits. Honsetly living in the south east must suck alot cause down there you got hurricane SEASONS, not just once and awhile but you got seasons for those mother fuckers every year. We gatta worry about a earthquake maybe every 15 to 30 years with small irrelevant quakes in between so you tell me whats worse haha.
