It would be great, there is no ego here, I would love to see Texas become its own independent country, and I am pretty sure there would be plenty of states who would rather be in our new government over America's current government. Besides you sorta ignoring the main topic of the thread.

Oh and there is a difference between a Civil War and a secession. Texas is actually able to secede at any time it is part of the contract when we joined the union in the first place. Besides it isn't like we would be leaving the union so we could keep slavery, it would be so our government does inadvertently get us caught up in the shitstorm that is bound to come from Obama's spending policies.
