From what I have read the Bill is about to be passed... Shortly followed by legislation requiring all citizens surrender their freedom in return for shackles and chains.

BTW, Tamiflu has been partially banned in Japan and South Korea due to adverse psychological reactions.

You can't transmit swine flu via food.

Of course there will be many more cases reported over the next week, all medical facilities are now actively testing anyone that comes in and has any flu like symptoms.

Like any virus, it will morph and evolve over time, it is possible that the strain in Mexico is more fatal then the possible variants that might show up in another country. It is also possible that this thing could also go the other way, pick up resistances to drugs and/or become more aggressive that has public health officials concerned.

pork is probably the worst meat you could ever eat anyway, I'm surprised this flu thing didn't start years ago in that filthy country

These damn farmers feed their pigs pork and shit like that, its the same as they did to cows that created mad cow disease. They pump them full of steroids and feed natural grazing animals meat, what the fuck do you expect will happen? Its not natural for a fucking cow or a pig to eat beef and pork. You fuck with nature like that and it will bite you in the ass. I hope a lot of these fucking farmers that do this stupid shit die from eating that crap, and the FDA learns to regulate this shit. 99% of the food at the grocery stores are poison to your body anyway, considering the chemicals they put in almost EVERYTHING you eat. Also, most people don't have the money to go to farmers markets to buy fresh food that isn't artificially enhanced.

Wanna know why americans get so fat? Look up MSG. Its common knowledge it kills you slowly, but its not common knowledge that its an addictive drug similiar to nicotine. The FDA doesn't regulate it, and companies are allowed to put as much MSG in their products as they want, and do not have to label it on the food. 99% of the food you eat here has it for instance. People are addicted to food because we put drugs in them to MAKE them addicted. Go figure.
          holy crap, a good post

you know, i read about travel restrictions not being imposed, right under an article about how such a thing would destroy the airline industry, considering the economic outlooks. i really hope airline lobbyists don't cause the next bubonic plague.

or probably because he's a physcian and already went thru this shit before when he first started his political career.

I know you don't like tone, but come on.

He brings up a good point (ron paul) I too wish the government made such a big deal out of all the other diseases that causes more deaths than 100 or so from mexico (not USA, fucking mexico).

That guy has a lot of facts wrong. Like the fact that Pharms aren't really making any money on this. The stock skyrocket was due to a bad tip.

Only watched a minute of it, like most of your videos. Enough time to realize, oh, I'm an idiot for watching another Tone video about conspiracy theories.

first line from your article: "A 23-month-old Mexican child has died of swine flu in Texas".
I guess it still only kills Mexicans so far, they should really consider renaming it to the Mexican Flu.. :P

I just got this email. It was sent to everyone in the firm:

                                Swine Flu and Travel Policy

The firm is continuing to actively monitor information regarding the swine flu outbreak that is being provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

To further ensure the safety of our personnel, the firm will be implementing the following safeguards, effective immediately:

If you or any member of your family become ill with a fever or other serious flu-like symptoms, you should not report to work. You should seek medical care, and return to work when you receive medical clearance to do so.
The CDC has advised that non-essential travel to Mexico should be avoided. Until this travel advisory has been removed by the CDC, any member of the firm who travels to Mexico for either business or personal reasons will be required to stay out of the office for a seven day period following their return. If you become ill during the quarantine period you should seek medical care and may return to work only when you receive medical clearance to do so. The firm will make every effort to enable personnel to work from home during the quarantine period.
Hopefully, this public health threat will be resolved quickly. As additional precautions or restrictions become available, we will let you know.
