It's still a perfect showing of just how powerless the man is despite the delusion he holds about himself. He really believed that he could sway the election for the Republicans and outshine Obama. He was extremely wrong, though he'll never admit it. I'm with PaulO, I don't hate the guy, but what a pitiful human being. He criticizes people with drug problems, then has to go to rehab. For the last 8 years he called Dems obstructionists for not passing legislation Bush requested, now he's calling for Republicans to do the same. His entire life revovles around being a blowhard about some new issue at the drop of a hat. His personality changes with each newer and more ridiculous story that comes across his eyes. There's no static to his personality, except that it aims to make as much noise as possible. He's been accused of being a chauvinist, a Nazi, and other less than shining descriptions. But he doesn't care. Part of me believes he doesn't even care what he's saying, only that it continues to make money.

The poor guy has to realize some time that that's all he'll ever be. An asterisk in the history of broadcast culture. Sure, he's rich and famous, but he will have to face the fact that he has done nothing to help this country. Ever.

And don't even get me started on the offshoots that came as a result of Rush. Bill O is tolerable, but Hannity, Coulter, Malkin and their kin can go fuck themselves all the way to the fornication farm.

These experts are the same people who thought they could create that mini black hole with that billion dollar machine that didn't work. These experts are the same ones that can't make up their minds on if the dinosaurs died from volcanoes or from the ice age. These same experts are the ones who think aliens exist but the supernatural does not. These scientists are the same experts that claim the "gamma rays of death" will knock out all power on 2012, the same as Y2K was going to destroy all computers.
