4 years is nothing. Yes, you are right in that a person is different at 24 than 20 (though not that different for a lot of ppl). However, it's not the right comparison. Two different people aren't necessarily any different at 20 and 24. Classic case of someone being more mature for their age comes to mind. The fact that he's not 21 is the only problem I see. I dated someone who's a year older, which isn't 4 yrs i know, but she was 21 and I was 20. It was a huge pain in the ass when it came to going out. I had already been arrested with a fake ID so I wasn't going to risk going out to bars, and it wasn't like she wasn't going to go to any for a year...
