Why is everyone picking on Tone?

I guess the forum mentality of the trench wars community is to act condescending toward anyone who has a different or weird opinion.

Voltaire said it best. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

He's brought it upon himself. There are others who have sided with many of his opinions but they don't get the same treatment because they don't rail on Obama's "evil face", ignore other people's arguments, provide updates on an issue people don't really care about or call people robots.

The Voltaire quote doesn't really hold sway either in this case because people aren't asking him to be banned or censored. His right to say what he's saying isn't being violated. People are actually expressing the first part of the quote, showing their disapproval of what he's saying, and this thread is an example of just that.

I disagree. By ridiculing him constantly and portraying him (even the moderators of this forum does this) like some sort of nutcase with foil hat is the same as ignoring him or refusing his right to speak. No one meets up his threads or posts with respect, just plain resent and harrassment.

But again, if you truly adhere to that Voltaire quote, you may disagree with the ridicule, but how can you not defend their right to express it? And ignoring someone also doesn't qualify either. You choosing to ignore someone is not the same as denying him the right to speak. As for not meeting his threads with respect, we've tried that initially, but he doesn't treat the responses with respect, either ignoring them or dismissing them as because we're brainwashed.
