- If you played the New Super Mario Bros. for the DS and loved it, get ready to play the New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii and love it again! With new 4 player Co-Op!
- Did you enjoy the original Golden Sun titles for the Gameboy Advanced and wondered where the hell it's been all this time? FEAR NOT! Golden Sun DS dropping in 2010.
- This E3 seems to be the year of fast turnarounds. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is being worked on for the Wii. That's right, a direct sequel Mario, haven't had one in the longest.
- Remember Team Ninja? Porn Director looking Tomonobu Itagaki made them famous for their Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden titles. Now they're producing the new Metroid: Other M for Nintendo. Expect Samus breast physics.
- Sony got Kojima-San busy these days. Not only is he working on a new Castlevania, new Metal Gear Rising, but now Metal Gear: Peace Walker for the PSP. The canon-story that fills the gap between the "Fall of Big Boss" and Metal Gear 1.
- I like my Gran Tourismo as much as the next guy, but I do feel if done right it could be a hot title on the portable scene. Gran Tourismo for the PSP is announced and I'm sure it'll be done to the form that is expected of the series.
- God of War 3 drops March 2010. I like the date, because it won't be lost in any holiday rush and comes at a time where it can be appreciated.
What's Not?
- PSP Go! is Sony's saving throw for their portable line. But, $250 entry price? This shit better be good.
- Motion controllers are gay. The Wii can get away with it, but just because they do it doesn't mean EVERYONE has to fucking do it. Now Sony has their motion controller for the PS3 that nobody will use and will be rarely supported. Stock next to: Eyetoy 3D.
What's Yet to be Determined?
- How are you? Good? Put your finger in this. Nintendo .. for some reason ... has a biorhythm meter that attaches to your Wiimote. Perhaps for horror titles? That'd be interesting.
- I'm sorry, but I don't think Square Enix doesn't have the goods to go against MMOs like Warhammer and World of Warcraft. But, Final Fantasy 14 could dominate the console MMO scene and possibly be the "killer app" for that audience. Only time will tell.

- Dead Rising 2 gets a better save system! That's all I wanted, really. Oooh and sea of zombies.
- A chaingun wielding Kazuya in Tekken 6 makes me wanna buy a PS3, because I love me my Tekken.
- Final Fantasy 13 drops Spring 2010 on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. In a related story, a sigh of relief can be heard across the United States.
- In the quickest turnaround for a sequel by Valve ever, Left 4 Dead 2 drops this Fall. New characters, new campaigns, and new locales.
- I think a lot of people assumed they wouldn't get another Bungie manufactured Halo until the next hardware cycle, but they announced Halo: Reach. If you're familiar with the lore of Halo, you should get a good idea already.
- In other Halo news, Halo: ODST will drop at full price with a rip off of Gears of War 2's "Horde" mode and comes with all the previously released DLC maps for Halo 3. Pay $99 for the special edition and get an exclusive, wireless controller.
- Raiden, the badass, not gayass, stars in Metal Gear Solid: Rising for the 360 and PS3. Expect lots of jumping and slashing and another convoluted plot.
- Streaming games off the internet was made famous by Steam, but now your Xbox 360 will be doing it with full retail titles. No M$ Points needed, just your credit card.
- I don't care anymore, I just wanna play Alan Wake. That's it.
- Electronic Arts (EA SPORTS) is moving into the MMA scene. There's high hopes for a good one after the stellar Fight Night series. UFC Unleashed 2009 sets a high bar, though.
- I hate cliffhanger endings, especially really bad cliffhanger endings. Assassin's Creed was like a blowjob without the orgasm, so Assassin's Creed 2 should finally finish us off.
- Hideo Kojima working on a game that doesn't begin with Metal and end with Solid? GASP!! Word has it that Kojima Productions is helming the new Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for consoles.
- No More Heroes showed that a Mature title can work on the Wii, so Suda51 is looking to capitalize on the violence and flair of the last title with No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. Look for dual beam Katanas, more batshit-crazy boss battles, and more schoolgirls.
What's Not?
- Final Fantasy 7 is ported to the PS3 and PSP over the PS Network. Where's the remake love, guys?
- Guitar Hero 5 is coming out ... really? I see this ending up like those "Now: That's what I call music 95" albums.
- Beatles: Rock Band ... really, again? Just make it a DLC pack, this is so unnecessary.
- Kojima's 20 countdown timers finally ended with telling us E3 is starting. What a cocktease.
- The Motion Controller idea for the 360 looks very futuristic and cool in their trailer. But, I doubt that shit will work like it's advertised nor will it be supported all too well. I pass.
- Facebook and Twitter on the Xbox 360 makes the Baby Jesus cry.
- Dante's Inferno is dropping for the consoles. Can you say "Faust May Cry" or "Kratos' Inferno"? Looks lacking in originality and a snore fest. The story is the only thing that could possibly salvage this.
What's Yet to be Determined?
- Square Enix's hack-n'-slash actioneer NIER. Squenix isn't known for it's "action", remember Dirge of Cerberus? That's right.
- Red Steel was a very "blah" launch title for the Wii. If Ubisoft addresses all the original's flaws, Red Steel 2 should be hot.
- the PSP Go! looks cool, but is it too little too late for Sony?
- Last.FM on Xbox Live sounds like an interesting idea, but will it be stocked with enough relevant songs to make it worth while?
- Xbox Avatars will be getting the much desired boost later this year. Soon you'll be able to deck your avatar out with costumes and clothes based on games you play in your library that you've won in-game or purchased in the avatar store. Hopefully the prices aren't outlandish and the costumes are well updated.
- The Xbox's main contender to Gran Tourismo, Forza Motorsport should be releasing Forza Motorsport 3 this year. Looks like they'll be tackling the main complaints of Forza 2, mainly the graphics and track design. But, with Need For Speed: Shift around the corner, will people still care?
