Actually that's not really true, honestly... we don't care. You could ask 100 random americans what the WC of hockey is and how is America doing and maybe 1 person would be able to give you an answer. I don't think the games are broadcast on TV. For us the NHL is the only hockey we know about. I didn't even know this WC thing existed until I read this thread and I watch SportsCenter and check out www.espn.com basically every day.

So basically what I'm saying, even if USA was winning we wouldn't even know.

i'm pretty sure they would made a little note about it if usa would've won the wc.. but it's stupid when ppl say that that counts just for the usa, in every country the media suddenly shows interest when their country wins a World cup in whatever sport..
