I'm a nerd, but still god fucking dammit, with all the CGI and all the MONEY THAT THIS FUCKING SERIES HAS BEEN MAKING you would think that they can be able to be a little FUCKING CREATIVE WITH THE MAGIC and the FIGHTING ASPECT OF IT!? seriously, it's like they can only do fireworks and one scene of fire. I read they left the scene out because the 7th book contains a battle at Hogwarts and they didn't want to seem repetitive. The only problem is that the battle will happen in the second of the two movies about the 7th book, so I don't really think repitition should be a problem.

I agree though; it was dumb as shit that they left it out and it pretty much ruined the movie.

You gotta read the book. The movie was terrible at explaining things for those who didn't read the 6th book. The movies prior to this were just to show how cool magic is, just for show.

I did read the book What I'm saying is that by leaving out the battle scene, the whole plot of the movie became rather misguided. I'll white text for those who haven't read/seen the movie.

Malfoy spent the whole movie trying to smuggle the Death Eaters into the castle. Meanwhile, his other attempts at killing Dumbledore failed. Finally, he fixed the cabinet and the Death Eaters got into the castle. So Malfoy was finally able to stroll into Dumbledore's office (with no resistance met along the way) and try to kill Dumbledore. Snape was there to finish the job if he couldn't do it. Then the Death Eaters, who were there for moral support, broke a few windows, set a few fires, and left. Without the battle scene, it was pointless for Malfoy to fix the cabinet - the Death Eaters just stood around watching as people at Hogwarts killed Dumbledore.

Without the battle, the Death Eaters were just like extras standing around doing nothing. Without the battle scene, Malfoy didn't even need to get them in for him and Snape to off Dumbledore. Which means that the movie was dragged out for no reason except some teenage angst.

I have a cousin that is like 12. She showed me the book once. The entire book is for a reading level of 3rd grade English. It is a book for little kids, and far more so than harry potter ever was.

The author of Twilight is a terrible fucking writer too. Anyone with any type of writing skills can figure it out. Her publisher got lucky as fuck with her stupid ass. I bet the book was meant for adults but the writing is so terrible that they created it as a children's book.

As far as the movie goes, I never saw the first one and I never will. I heard it was terrible too. I definitely won't see the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.
