You think they're going to incur all the fees to potentially save one regular ass person? No government program will ever fight cancer for you thats almost all out of pocket...i dont even think a private health policy will be stupid enough to try.

uh huh. Almost as dumb as saying Ted Kennedy would have been left to die under Obama's plan, or that there will be organized death panels deciding who's valuable to keep around and who isn't. Believe what you want, but you have to ask yourself at a certain point, why would the government go to all the trouble and all the expenses of doing this? What benefit does it bring us as a country? I think you'll find the answer is that it will make us a more healthy and productive society. The evidence for why we need to change is in this thread and the McCain-Obama thread.
