I don't think you understand mine. Everyone is created equal, yes... but equal to choose their own paths as well. See, I live in the USA and you don't. Simple enough reason for you to not talk about my countries politics, right?Originally posted by Galleleo View PostRofl, you aren't even capable of understanding my point, so there is no reason at all for me to even try and argue anything you say.RaCka> imagine standing out as a retard on subspace

Unity in America? Since when? We've been making a mockery of ourselves and our political system for years now. It didn't just start with Bush or Obama. Every chance either political party gets to smear the other party or its members is jumped on instantly and mercilessly and it's had a negative impact on Americans and our country.Originally posted by gran guerrero View PostBut no please, continue fighting, continue destroying unity in America so that other countries can look at us like we're fucking children.http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/2561/rasaq.png

exactly. noone 'deserves' it. I don't think you're aware of the truth you spoke.Originally posted by GalleleoMy point is that there isn't anyone who deserves healt care more than anyone else
A question for you: why healthcare? Why not food and water? if everyone was properly fed, then we wouldn't have to worry about the cost of food (which could be used for healthcare). Everyone would pay a small tax to be able to enjoy all the food they want. They would be healthy. It's not right that the poor have shitty food and the rich can eat whatever they want. Everyone should be able to eat whatever they want, whenever they want. For free.
What, you're not for universal food care? You must want small children to starve to death. While being raped.

I don't know about the US (though I am not surprised as 90% of the foods seems to be terrible), but over here everyone can afford good food, some food is cheaper than other, but even the people on welfare can buy decent to good food.
So, maybe you are just living in the wrong country Jerome.Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

Well the founding fathers never really did establish any unified thoughts as their was a clear distinction between the north and south in the beginning of the revolution. Some of the South did not have a problem with England, in fact they were profiting. The North wasn't and instigated shit to make England retaliate then convinced the South to unite (a lot of which remained loyalists to the crown). It didn't help that the election process factioned into two party where the main parties were federalist and anti-federalist. Let's not forget that whole civil war thing. Both sides want control, not willing to let go and be stubborn. But if the country would just fucking grow up and stop being selfish and childish, we can work together to create something much better than what we got. And continue to progress, it should never stop growing. But it seems people have forgotten that this is the United States of America...Originally posted by saetep View PostUnity in America? I have said this before but having a centralized government in control of things that should be left to a state government ruins America because you can't make a one size fit all rule and expect it to work in every state. In California you can say no drilling for oil but in Texas you can't for instance. Maybe people like gun control in Michigan but in Texas we don't. So now that cultures widely vary from state to state, including religious beliefs, ideologies, work ethics, and pretty much everything political you can't really expect a nation with over 50 large territories each with their own culture to want the same thing as each other. That is why originally state governments were supposed to retain much much more control over the state they lived in than the federal government, and that is part of the problem. The government got too big, and started trying to make one size fit all rules for every state of America.Rabble Rabble Rabble

Ergo refers back to the basic argument that started it all, Federalist v. Anti-Federalist.
Personally I am leaning on anti-federalist.
But in terms of foreign policy, and infrastructure of roads, bridges, buildings, water, pipes, electricity, food, and anything that also might be related to these things...
I'm leaning federalistsigpic

I was daydreaming about roads and I had a random thought: roads are in fact ridiculously expensive and take up alot of space. Cars do nothing but create pollution. In short, very inefficient... which is why the government runs it.
I think had the country had stuck to principles, the landscape would look so much different. People would have used railroads more (which private companies could and did build), as well as air travel. Less pollution per person, less taxes per person, more useable land... but hot damn, we had to have roads. It seemed like a good idea, at the time.
