You also can't use equipment (bubble shields, etc...) Since playing the campaign by myself, I'm beginning to enjoy the challenge more than co-op.
I agree with most of you though, if you want to play the campaign...rent it, don't spend $60 since you already have Halo 3. Of course you miss out on several play lists (new ones too) in Matchmaking. The only thing is, if you do get in the Mythic playlists, you still aren't so likely to actually play the extra maps.
