So they pushed this crap on people today at my local Starbucks. I personally did not want to try it or even go into the store, but the people of whom I had lunch with wanted to try it.
So it was better than Sanca and will attract people under 70 to try it perhaps? I found it to be sub par on the scale of getting a fresh 24 Oz. at my local 7-11 for roughly about the same price of what this crap will cost.
Personally, I am not a fan of Starbucks, but will on a rare day splurge for a Venti Quad Soy Latte...but it is a rare thing for me to do.
I would rather stick with Dunkin Dougnuts or 7-11 for my coffee. I just do not see the market for another instant coffee, of which will be more expensive than your typical instants like Maxwell House or for the senior citizen's...Sanca.
They claim it tastes "almost as good" as fresh brewed. So why not just brew a cup with the single makers they have? I use my Starbucks purchased single cup, cone filtered maker with fresh ground Dunkin's beans every day. Cheaper, takes 2 minutes and minimal cleanup...are people just to f'n lazy to brew a cup of coffee anymore?
Anyone else try this instant coffee today? If not, hit up your S-Bucks, as they are supposed to be giving samples away free all day today!
