Well, in my opinion the Audi's I have driven were always better to drive then the golf's I have driven, and if you are talking specifically Jetta, I have driven a lot of those (apperantly popular lease vehicles here) and like I said there is nothing wrong with the car, it drives fine, but I still but the Audi to be better as far as driving it goes. More comfortable, a better feel, I just found them better.

That is my opinion Disp. You know I would take Volvo over those brands anyway (though the rs6 was particularly fun to drive). But IMO Audi is more fun than Jetta.
Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

I'm talking specifically between driving a MkV Golf, a MkV Jetta, a VW EOS and a 8P A3 (2003-2007) are basically, underneath, exactly the same car.

Taking a 05 Golf, Jetta, and A3 out back to back, all with the same 1.9TDI engine, they all drive EXACTLY the same..
The A3 just feels better because it's percieved build quality is higher (i.e. softer materials, better fabric, etc)

yet, if you really dig deep, they are all actually built out of various Skoda parts

      go Klonkswagen go!

Diesel is a stupid decision to be honest, Diesel prices are going to be the first thing to have its price raised with all the new policies and eco friendly shit going on in America. Diesel will be up to 5 dollars a gallon again before regular hits 3.50.

Depends on where you live. Diesel is cheaper than gas on the west coast. When you factor in the good gas mileage on TDIs versus the eventual battery replacement in your hybrid versus paying out the ass for gas (which is the option I'm guessing you elect).

I don't think 1.95 is paying out the ass for gas, shit, when I started driving 8 years ago gas was 99 cents, with inflation and stuff that isn't too bad.

yeah, but $1.95 is a texas price because the fuel is probably traveling less than 50 miles from refinery to your local gas station. that's wayyy lower than anywhere else in the country. not really a fair comparison.

am i wrong or do american-made hybrids still only switch to electric when theyre at a stop?

also, out of the six people ive known that own vws/audis, half of them have broken 100k without a sweat, and the other half basically disintegrated the second the warranty expired

i ended up getting a 2009 civic. this gen of civic is literally one out of every 5 cars in this part of the country but it gets solid milage and got it for like 100 bucks over invoice, and then got the retarded cash for clunkers discount
                  5:gen> man

Yeah but we saw this happen already last time, whenever gas gets expensive they cut production on diesel before they cut production on regular. Supply and demand.
