Genocidal, obviously a person who doesn't have the moral high ground when it comes to acting mature and treating people with respect. This might have good intentions written all over it, but rather than pleading to a group of 14 year olds it might be better if you start leading by example.

I am not sure what "specific examples" you cite but I assure you I am a very nice person. In fact, I'm probably top5 nicest guys in TW. I am sure I have made some less than respectful posts in my tenure here but these were made due to my drug and alcohol problem. I don't know if you know this but drugs and alcohol problems are serious business, in fact it's a disease. I have a disease and you're blaming me for a few stray posts I made under the heaping affliction of a disease. How ignorant. Do you also make fun of children cancer victims outside of St. Jude's? That's what my disease had brought me down to - a child. Diseases really bring people to their knees, and I was on my knees as a child praying to God when I asked for His help. I am now disease-free and my concern for the forum discourse only mounts with every instance that horrid slurs like "faggot" and "retard" are thrown around. You should be ashamed.

It's okay to use language in a deragatory manner as long as no one is around to hear it. That's the mindset that has made the "gay" a pervasively used word in the first place.

I don't use the words "retarded" or "gay" IRL as I suspect many of you TW toughguys also refrain from until you get online and have anonymity. Not only because it's disrespectful (if you can't see how equating homosexuality to negativity is wrong then you're retarded), but also because if you don't watch out, you could get caught using hate speech :fear:. point is, racism will never go away. I use about ever deregatory term out there in real life and i quite frankly dont give a fuck. How it's used in context is the factor. If you were gay, and someone was joking around and said "lol that's gay" you wouldn't be offended. Same as if someone were to point you out and call you gay, it still wouldn't matter. A response would be "Yeah, so?" Now for instance if someone were to call you a faggot because you were gay, is a different story.

Same goes for African Americans. Someone says "You're a ni**er" and it's an insult. Someone says "You're black." and it's just common sense. "Yeah, I am black. So?" rather than "Excuse me, you're calling me a ni**er?"
