Insults can hurt, yes... lousy comments however not directed at anyone particularly shouldn't however...

What if all your friends always say all the fuckin time: oh you're so dull, oh you're so weird, because you are either weird or dull... Does that mean that others around you cannot say something is weird or dull?

Something being gay is just a figure of speach, that isn't used to insult, but more to express how you feel about something...

Gay people have the tendency to use the same phrase amongst one and another when they wanna say they find something fun or great or depending on the voice tone, when something is just over the top gay... Just like certain gay people could say: Oh, that's so straight... Should they be banned for saying that too? that's just silly...
Gay people use it to comment on them liking something, while some groups of heterosexual people us it to comment on them disliking something... It's only logic, why the fuck care about something so gay?

Insults give you a big skin, they make you wanna fight back in a way to show others you're better then that or them...
