College might seem hard, but compared to other things its mediocre. The technological College I went to is a fuck lot harder than University. All I do is read, show up for a few hours a day, and then at the end of the semester I write an essay and an exam. In College I was at school for 10 hours a day, this is more like an education vacation where I get another piece of paper and get to read some books and learn some interesting theories. I mean shit you don't need to even show up to all your classes. I don't advocate being a truant student but I haven't gone to a history class since September and I'm currently sitting at an 80 in that class (Already finished 70% of the course load). Take things for what they're worth, don't over dramatize your situation and say its hard, cause it's probably not. I've sat at a fucking desk handing out cameras as a work study job. I knew I was getting free money and all you have to do is sit there and look like you give a damn, oh and don't wear fucking pajamas. What you do and the amount of labor you put into your job indicates any money they give you is an overpayment.

Life gets hard when you leave school, not the other way around.

The reason I doubt you could handle the job is not because it is particularly difficult mentally, but because of the strict guidance on things that you have to do/wear, and since you have problems with not wearing pajamas in a place of business, im pretty sure you'd struggle.

Please dont insult my intelligence by acting like college is hard at all...I went through a couple semesters at community college, which from peoples experiences isnt much different learning-wise than most colleges for the first couple of years, but I couldnt stand the boredom of not learning anything useful. Calculus was great...but I'm never going to use it. English was meh, but I can already speak English very well and write it very well. Chemistry, physics...when will you use those every day? Obviously you use physics but not in the textbook sense. I am pretty sure I could handle sitting in a chair for a while or just not showing up to class and going out drinking

Don't underestimate the possible boredom at upper-division classes, either. Even when taking upper division engineering classes which I know are useful, I sure as shit get bored at times.

I'm in my second year, but I'm working on the junior year in my degree. And my degrees are difficult, even more so because I'm pursuing the honors versions. In addition, the classes I'm taking are in preparation for the actuarial exams, the first of which I'm taking in December. And taking those exams is what I will be doing for at least 5 years following graduation, while I'm working. I think it's fair to say that my course load is a little bit difficult.

Ok, try reading my post. I have no problem wearing nice clothing to a normal job. I don't attempt to wear pajamas when I work at 2pm. I'm simply mad about the fact that when I work a 2 hour shift in the early hours of the morning, when I don't see another human soul, I'm not allowed to wear pajamas. If I actually had to go anywhere to work, I'd wear something else. But when all I have to do to get to work is ride an elevator for 8 floors, the motivation and necessity to change my clothing after rolling out of bed is nonexistent.

i'm just saying that right now you may think your classes are difficult and that college is super tough (i know i felt the same way), but in a few years when you look back you'll realize how that doesn't really compare to the trials of striving towards a good career and living life outside the protective bubble of college
