  • Seattle Cop Killings

First we had the 1 cop killing about a month ago. The suspected killer was shot and is still in critical condition in Harborview Medical Center.

Now we have this killing of 4 cops in a coffee shop that reads like an assassination. The suspected guy was also pardoned by Mike Huckabee. Anyone else following this story? Here's some links:

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/arc....php?ref=fpblg (this one is more about the pardon)

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...hihome29m.html (this is more about the developing story)

From what I have gathered, this man allegedly posted a $15,000 bail from Pierce county prison 1 week ago after having been in jail from the ages of 18-33. He is now 37. He was in jail a week ago for pending child rape charges that were waiting to go to court, but had been previously pardoned from a 35 year sentence of robbery, assault, armed assault, and other charges after 15 years of being in prison by Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas. This man also seems to be fairly insane. Apparently he claims to be the messiah and other such things. What bothers me is how this man was able to post bail. He has barely been out of jail for 4 years and owns a house in Leschi, yet still has $15,000 to post bail? I don't see this happening for a former convict. In Seattle currently, there is an increase in gang activity and a war on the cops brewing, so what I am beginning to believe is that one gang bailed this guy out and used him as a fall guy to put some more fear in the cops. Just a theory as of now, nothing to substantiate it.

So what do you guys think? Political ramifications? How will this effect the GOP? Will Palin win the primaries now? Da fuk Huckabee?

I was following this story. Seems like that liberal, I mean Conservative asswipe Huckabee will feel the sting of this debacle. I doubt this will help Palin, but I could see this helping out Romney.

The latest crap about Palin I was reading in regards to her church and her support of her religious leaders would make one assume that she would love nothing more than to destroy the world so she can be closer to Jesus. She is as wacky as the muslim suicide bombers that think they are getting 72 virgins when they die.

Back to the guy that shot the cops in WA state. This guy should never have been released from jail and what I find odd is that there are people doing more time in jail for non violent crimes and Huckabee pardoned this asshole. Just amazes me. I wonder if this GOP hopeful will have his cable show cancelled now?
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

But now you got some guy who walks into a coffee shop, says nothing, and just opens fire on 4 cops sitting there waiting to start their shift.

What the fuck is wrong with these people...

In revision of my previous post, it was $150,000 bail; not $15,000.

Definitely all a psy-op to get the most liberal city in the country to up gun restrictions.

Huckabee made phone calls and attended meetings PERSONALLY to get 2 rapists out of jail. Were they personal friends? Or was he receiving orders to release these Manchurian candidates?

Looks like they got him. Shot dead while fleeing from a patrolman.

                      As for Huckabee:
"On Monday, Mr Huckabee said he took responsibility for making Clemmons eligible for parole, describing the case as a failure of the justice system."

Does this douche bag not understand that the justice system was doing fine until he meddled in it? The justice system didn't fail to stop this guy, he did.

There have been a lot of shootings in Washington this year.

The college town I live in just had their first murders in a year and a half, and they had two in the same weekend. Both shootings.

Plus there was that kid shot near St. James the other night. He was some white rapper that got killed in a gang shooting.

                        City's going to hell...

Sounds like the Temple Univeristy campus on a daily basis. Only 5? wow...damn...I think Philly has that on avg. every day. And...NO I am not proud of the killings in Philly.

No, there have been a lot more than 5....

Hell, 4 people were slain in Lakewood (about 30 mins south of Seattle) by this Clemmons guy's hand alone.

And the place where I live is shocked by any violent crime that isn't committed by one homeless person on another. It's a sleepy little town where all the old Seattle hippies and college burnouts go to retire, so two murders in a 3 day period is a little shocking, especially when one was a traveller and the other was a middle aged white guy.

But yeah, this isn't Philadelphia, where you guys see 250-300 murders per year.
