I never watched the Tonight Show to begin with anyways. Conan was so dumbed down for the Tonight Show. Don't get me wrong, he is fucking hilarious but he just never clicked for me at the 11:30 spot. Jay Leno needs to get fucked though. He almost ruined tradition and he definitely ruined a man's dream by not giving a fuck.

The last few weeks with the whole late night lineup has been spectacular. Been following Gawker's coverage closely. I'm with Coco, always loved his show since the mid 90s.

I always preferred Coco to Leno. Obviously I didn't see the show that much, watched it a few times (his old one) while I was in the US and I dled the last two episodes of the Late Night show (I love Robin Williams), Conan is a funny guy. Also I agree with Ben Stiller (or was it Robin?) about something that Conan should start doing I just kinda forget exactly what that was so this sentence isn't really making any sense and I should just leave this out of this post but here it is anyway.

I've been watching Conan since he first took over for Letterman on Late Night. I remember how awkward he first was, it reminds me a lot of Jimmy Fallon except with a smaller budget. It's a real shame because I think Leno can be entertaining, but NBC really did a shit job with this whole thing.

He did lose some of his stuff from Late Night, but I don't think he was watered down that much. He's really made the best of this whole situation and it was a very respectable way to go out. I'm willing to bet he'll have a show on Fox come September, but I hope he does some writing again until then.

I've been watching Conan almost nightly for a decade, I'm really disappointed with the way NBC handled this situation. The fact is that the affiliates wanted Leno off the air at 10:30 because he was absolutely killing the ratings for the late local news. So his show was an absolute failure, and what does NBC do? They give him his old time slot back because Conan (in 7 months on the job) isn't beating Letterman in the ratings. Conan had every right to be pissed, especially considering the fact that it was common knowledge for at least 3 years that Conan was taking over the Tonight Show on June 1 2009. So basically he was the Tonight Show host in waiting for about 5 times as long as he was the host. What a joke NBC is, and now everybody knows it. Even the die-hard Leno fans (at least the ones who aren't senile yet) admit that Conan pretty much got ass fucked in this situation. Personally, I'd rather watch 20 year old Larry Sanders repeats than watch Leno on the Tonight Show. I can honestly say that I won't be watching NBC for a long time, but that won't be too difficult because they only have 3 shows worth watching, and all are easily downloadable. The bad news is that we will have to go until September before Conan is back on, the good news is that he is likely to end up at Fox, where the network president has gone on record as loving Conan. He could end up at Comedy Central after Stewart and Colbert, but I think the prospect of going to Fox and being able to directly compete with the Tonight Show would just be too tempting. Let's hope Conan is a vindictive guy and wants to crush Leno.

I would hate to see Conan go to Fox, just because Fox = Sarah Palin = ie Retards.

Because obviously there isn't a difference between fox political channels and fox entertainment channels, because we both know that shows like the simpsons and family guy have a huge pro conservative agenda hidden in their liberal context.

FOX network is the most successful network station in America. They haven't tried a Night show in a while, but they're very good at making things popular.

I know Fox isn't only Bill O'Rilley (or whatever his name is) and Sarah Palin and that bullshit, but it's just linked to terrible garbage in my mind, we have had a Fox channel in the Netherlands and it had absolutely nothing at all to do with any conservative crap, but first thing when I hear Fox = Sarah Palin and that is not a positive advertisement.

Yeah but its stupid, every major broadcasting company has people who suck on it, whether it be Carville or Olbermann or Kuryk(kurik?). Should I not watch really good shows because the news channels owned by these companies are politically left or right, that is taking it way too far.

Love Conan & have been watching him since he moved to TV from the writers desk. I can honestly say that I watched th 1st week of his "Tonight" show and I thought every show was horrible. I am not a Leno fan either, but Conan was so so so much better when his show aired after Leno's Tonight Show.

Maybe it was his move to LA that did it? I dunno...but regardless, I think that Conan's show went downhill.

But not to worry! Rumour has it that Comcast may remove the NBC network all together, as they make no monies from it. I could see NBC vanishing from the public air waves. Why keep it when you have all the other profitable networks airing on pay channels through cable/satellite?

Now that Comcrap owns NBC, I have a feeling things could change for the NBC network.

Jimmy Fallon...does he even have more than 20 people watching his show outside of the studio audience? Again, I watched his show off and on and am just disgusted by the lack of writing talent and overall guests and show in general. This show should have been canned.

Arsenio had a better show than all of the shows in their current form.

                            Thank goodness for Jimmy Kimmel!!!
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.
