Loved the finale. I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell, but getting Beck, Ben Harper and one of the ZZ Top guys was pretty cool. I was expecting Springsteen to show up too, but the Haiti telethon was obviously more important.
The worst thing about all of this for NBC is its long term plan for the Tonight Show. Leno's audience is aging while Conan's audience is the age bracket advertisers relish.
