Ok, so I don't really know a whole lot about this stuff, so I'm asking you guys. I'll be in Japan for a bunch of weeks, including during the world cup and I need something that hides my IP so I can just watch stuff on Dutch sites without getting that annoying thing that I can't watch that in a different country. What's good for this?

That's really slow though, I've tried it, sometimes it downloads at max 14kb/s.Ara / AraGee / Death

Any public free services are likely to be slow.
The way I'd go about this is to set up an SSH server at home, then tunnel your web traffic through that connection with PuTTY or something.
You could probably also get Hamachi to work like this for you.

I use the addon "Proxy Switchy!" on Google Chrome and a UK proxy to watch stuff off the BBC iPlayer. I am sure you could use that addon and find Proxies from the Netherlands on the internet (like from here). Just trial and error the addresses/ports until it works. I think the Firefox addon equivalent is "FoxyProxy Basic".duel pasta <ER>> i can lick my asshole

cool i wondered this myself a while ago but never looked into it
i tried to watch the Rep. Ireland international match off the RTÉ website it blocked me for having a Northern Ireland IP and not a Rep. one and my head nearly exploded as the only reason they have that is cause of SKY sports that also hosts RTÉ but blocks it's football matches cause it charges for them unlike free RTÉ :/ and also if i had a second aerial i could probably pick up RTÉ here but i rent an apartment on the 13th floor and have no accessIn my world,
