In Japan, the win over Cameroon has definitely helped, it's bigger now. But before that it was pretty big in Japan, especially amongst the youth, it's big amongst them. But we were at Nissan yesterday and the guy telling us about the company also congratulated us on the win against Denmark and talked about the game tonight for a bit, so they follow it. But Japanese people don't seem to be that emotional (showing excitement) in public so it's hard to read.
I would assume it's huge in the Netherlands as always, 50% is probably already thinking we'll be world champion after the game against DenmarkMaybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

I walked into an office in Houston today to make a delivery and they had wheeled in a big screen TV and had the game on, and had got everyone breakfast. This was at a downtown office, I even got to hang out for about 15 minutes until half with them then I went and watched the rest of it during lunch, and listened to the England game on the radio before I got home. So I would say its getting more popular here in Houston surprisingly. But we have alot of illegal mexicans who like soccer also so.Rabble Rabble Rabble

Watching the game in Tokyo was awesome. The Japanese were beyond excited. If you would have to go by sound, it would have been at least 10-1 for Japan, they were shouting whenever the ball threatened to get near the goal it was pure awesomeness. Afterwards, I was interviewed by someone from a newspaper, our group appeared on Japanese television asking us about the game. We were stopped by about a 1000 Japanese people wanting to take pictures with us, congratulating us. At a certain point we blocked off an entire crossing and drove the police crazy. We had tons of Japanese shouting Holland, Holland, that was awesome. We could have lost 5-0 and I would still have had an awesome time.Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

soccer is definitely a minority sport here. my brother and his friends are keeping on it cuz they play, but quite frankly, the state of louisiana drinks too much to be up that early.
now that the nba is over more people are tuning in, but mainly in the sense that they'll watch anything if its competitive and one can bet on it.
personally... i hate ties.
