Im not against mosques being built...but one that symbolizes victory over a site like ground zero is ridiculous. Totally against this because I dont see this as a peace symbol or offering at all. I cant even think of this as being a monument because history has shown that when muslims conquer lands they build mosques over the ruins as a way of demonstrating power and conquering the land. If it was a non-religious building or monument built by muslims i wouldnt care, but a mosque? fuk outta here.

seriously dude, it's a mosque, there's one a block away from my house. i didn't know it was a mosque for years, because contrary to what fox news is telling you, mosques do not hoist up giant gold statues of osama bin laden covered in neon lighting that reads DEATH TO AMERICA. and even if it was built, you would give all of 2 seconds of a fuck, and then your ADHD minds will focus on something else (you know oil's still leaking into the gulf right?).
