Well based on minimum wage standards and an average of 30 minutes per event hosted with like 2000 events hosted that is like 1000 hours of hosting at what is it now like 6.35 an hour?

That is like me donating 6,350.00 dollars to the zone. Not to mention all the actual donations I made :P

I liked you up until you had to go after kthx. If you were actually a member of this community here you'd know who he is and the right and wrong ways to address him. I guess it was rude of me not to introduce myself - I'm from powerball zone - or use to be - now I bounce around from zone to zone depending on what mood I'm in

It's been almost 16 years since I started playing this game - and have seen every path it has taken into what it has evolved into today

I have noticed a big decline in all the zones lately - Every Zone is padding their numbers with bots who just sit in spec pretending to be players - Now there are more bots then actual players

When I talked to 24 - He wanted money for advertising - I felt obligated to help out since I've played for so long for free - Instead of wasting $200 going out drinking at a bar - I decided to stay home and donate the money to a more worthy cause instead - boy was I mistaken

I did not want to use your $$ to have an advantage over my fellow players - So I decided to hold this tournament to help out my old zone as well - The donation was to help promote the whole game - Not a particular zone

Have to admit powerzone is not letting me host my tournament there - They don't want TW players in their zone - Will the madness never end

In the spirit of the past - I'll give the million to kthx - in the condition he host a tournament and gives it away as the grand prize to the winning team

Well like you said this isn't the thread for it.. Anyway in the past I (and many others) have made numerous suggestions what staff should look at to improve the zone (main goal: try and keep newcomers instead of giving them no clue at start, and then overloading them with options, we should even reduce the options/side-events if our numbers decline). But for 5+ years for some reason the main goal seems to have been 'new events', sometimes just small side events, sometimes idiotic things that eat up a shitload of time like distension, and this seems like something that wasn't thought of overnight and could change the zone radically, again instead of attacking the root problems why the zone is stagnating and just surviving on an old core.

Since I hardly play anymore, I'm not in the position to criticize on this new idea too much, I haven't even tested it yet, also it's not like I'd suddenly be listened to, so why bother..

This has nothing to do with you or this thread obviously. So I'll leave it at that, and gl with your tourney, maybe you can steal some players towards the powerball zone! :P

After talking to the Temple of Mordor (PBZ) - They do not want this tournament to take place in their zone - They are against it so much - They have spitefully removed 3H from the zone

It is become ever so clear what the real problem plaguing this game is -MEGALOMANIACS

You can get all the new players you want - but until we address the Megalomaniac problem - we will be pissing into the wind

Like I say - If you are going to criticize something have an alternative plan or goal

Since we are going to a capitalist society - We need to go to a democratic one - right now are under a totalitarian regiem - and you see how that's working out

Goal - Put the power back into the hands of every player - releasing the grip of the megalomaniacs

Plan - We need to get the other players more involved and give them a voice so they can feel connected to the game - Voting puts power in everyone's hands so the Megalomaniacs cant hoard it all for themselves

Goal - Stop cross zone wars created by Megalomaniacs

Plan - Create cross zone tournaments so that a singular monetary system that can be used in all zones

Goal - Create an Open Judicial System

Plan - Vote in jury for a players court to settle disputes - Jury member can't be a mod or staff member of any kind

Guess I'll have to hoard my million till someone comes up with another plan - I would like to see several plans and then have the players vote themselves on how to use it
