Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm just curious if you and your families have any traditions you guys do every year, or any funny memories that have stuck with you throughout the years. :wub:

We go to the cottage, open one gift christmas eve usually a dvd and watch it as a family and then go to bed.

Wake up in the AM and hang out and shoot the shit as we open gifts. The rest of the day is very sloth like with a lot of booze and food.

Well my dad lives on a lake of sorts and has a pretty big yard, lots of trees that drop Pignuts and whatnot.

So we generally all show up around 11, all my brothers are married and so am I so we generally all hang around for a bit, open presents, then the women get the sides and all that stuff ready, and the men all go outside where we smoke the turkey. Both my brothers are huge into wine and I am into beer so we generally crack open a few of our presents to one another and get a bit ripped. Then we go outside and have the feats of strength where we see who can throw a rock the furthest into the lake, throw pignuts at one another generally until someone gets nailed in the head and takes a break, and toss the football. Then eventually we all go back inside, eat, and watch football or whatever is on.
