People have been pretty nice all day today -- I had the assholes on Monday and Tuesday.
Today, it cost one person $172 to get his keys out from his car after his kids locked them in. Brutal. I suggest purchasing AAA or some form of roadside assistance to everyone for those unknown situations like that.

I had a little grandma come in here today to a return, when I look over to ask her what was going on, she's bawling her eyes out. I asked her what was going on, she said she had bought her grandkids $450 of train sets and add ons (I cashier part time at a model train store). She gave them to her grandkids today, and they looked at them and said they didn't want them. When she was talking to them about it, the mom (her daughter) came in and screamed at her for making them late to church. They drove her to the store, dropped her off, and left her there.

WOW that's messed up.
Fucking spoiled brats. Too many of those in Denver -- I worked at a DayCamp over at DU one summer where all the parents of that area bring their kids in the summer so they don't have to deal with it. That was probably one of the worst college jobs ever.
Much easier being a head lifeguard there and making $15/hr to do absolutely nothing.

There was another guy in here who was buying $550 worth of stuff, and raised hell because he wanted $15 off the total and we couldn't do it because there was no way to run it through without fucking up our inventory. I'm not rich so I understand that $15 isn't something you want to throw away, but Jesus fuck you're spending $550 on TRAINS and you're going to argue for 3 hours?
