The snow storm was pretty awesome though. I spend like 1.5 hours on Sunday night with friends of mine pushing stuck cars out of big snow piles and stuff. It was pretty fun! Right now though, it's all turning into that mush bullshit, and that is kinda shitty.

Yeah the news last night gave the range of 2 inches to 12 inches. We're close enough to the Palmer Divide out this way that we could get completely fucked by this system. lol.

Sigh .... so on my ATM after the customer tears the receipt off that they hand to me, it says on the screen "Press Any Key for Your Receipt"

The guy stood there for about 30 seconds and then asked me "Wheres the any key???" I don't know how I didn't start rolling on the floor laughing uncontrollably like some sort of mental patient.


/i have a different type of ATM than your typical stand alone cash dispensing ones. after crackheads drove through the front of my store to steal one of those that was empty a few years ago we had to go a much different route for our ATM, the "Cashless ATM".

so what do they do? make a withdrawal from the account and show you the receipt, and get the cash from the drawer?

Yeah basically -- I keep one copy of the receipt for my records though just in case some asshole tries to pull some bullshit.

A much nicer system for a small convenience store like mine. I can limit people to $100 too so they don't zap all of my cash with a giant withdrawal unless they pay multiple fees for it. lol.
