I took a roadtrip for a couple weeks a few years ago, and it was just to visit the southwest. I went down to the eastern part of texas, all through dallas, austin, san antonio, el paso, etc. Then I went through new mexico, arizona, cali, utah, colorado, and back.

Anyway, it was the best trip I've ever taken, and I've gone to tons of places, like australia for instance. I would highly recommend a trip to the southwest. It's warm, beautiful scenery, and there are far less asians/blacks. Downside is there are far more mexicans.

Vancouver is nice but there are WAY too many yellow people. It's offset a bit by their beautiful ladies. At least we don't have any black people, though.
