    ITT I ask HMS and other Canadian forum-goers to sound off on their government.

    For those who don't know, the Canadian legislature just (and I mean JUST) passed a no confidence motion against the executive branch, effectively toppling the government. I'm not Canadian, so I don't know what all this truly entails. Hence why I'm making this topic. To try and grasp a further understanding of what this all means... not just from the media, but from the people who live there and have to deal with whatever comes because of this.

          It means taxpayers have to pay for more campaigning. Politically it means nothing, because nothing happens in the Parliament anyway, and all our parties are basically the same.
